La televisión se ha enfrentado a una serie de obstáculos debido a la pandemia de Covid-19 pero eso no ha impedido que seamos testigos de grandes contenidos ya sea en televisión abierta o plataformas de streaming.
MTV ha anunciado a los nominados de los MTV Movie & TV Awards y algunas series como Wanda Vision, Emily In Paris, The Boys y el reality Rupaul Drag Race están a la cabeza por la terna que entrega la cadena de televisión estadounidense.
La ceremonia se realizará este 16 de mayo de 2021 de forma presencial en el Palladium de Los Ángeles. Esto sucederá luego de que en 2020 se cancelara debido a la pandemia por Covid-19 y en su lugar se realizó una ceremonia especial el pasado 6 de diciembre de 2020 premiando a Los Más Grandes de Todos Los Tiempos esto bajo la conducción de Vanessa Hudgens.
