En este mismo evento, Sheinbaum anunció una inversión superior a 430 millones de pesos para fortalecer el sistema IMSS-Bienestar en el estado, con el objetivo de renovar quirófanos, garantizar abasto de insumos y contar con personal médico y de enfermería suficiente, consolidando así el acceso a la salud como un derecho.

De acuerdo con la información del gobierno federal, el nuevo hospital cuenta con:

- 42 especialidades
- Tecnología de última generación
