El Gobierno federal publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación un anexo del acuerdo de emergencia sanitaria, el cual especifica que las empresas de producción de acero, cemento y vidrio (indispensables para la industria de la construcción), seguirán operando para garantizar la continuación de obras como el Tren Maya, la refinería de Dos Bocas y el Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles, que se construye en la Base Aérea Militar de Santa Lucía.

De acuerdo con el documento, otro de los sectores que seguirán con labores son las minas de carbón y su servicio de transporte, con el objetivo de garantizar el suministro de energía de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).

Según el acuerdo, continuarán laborando empresas con contratos en "Dos Bocas, Tren Maya, Aeropuerto Felipe Ángeles, Corredor Transístmico; así como los contratos existentes considerados como indispensables para Petróleos Mexicanos y la Comisión Federal de Electricidad".

Para las "empresas de producción de acero, cemento y vidrio, así como los servicios de tecnología de la información que garanticen la continuidad de los sistemas informáticos de los sectores público, privado y social", éstas deberán informar a la Secretaría de Economía sobre el número de empleados que siguen laborando, con el objetivo de mantenerlos al mínimo.

Hace unos días, el Gobierno federal anunció el inicio de la Fase 2 para evitar la propagación de los contagios de Covid-19, el coronavirus de origen chino, que incluye el aislamiento y la suspensión de actividades no esenciales, por lo que se tuvo que aclarar que las cementeras, acereras y productoras de vidrio, en especial las que tienen contratos con la administración federal, pueden continuar sus actividades.
