En días pasados, el Servicio de Transportes Eléctricos (STE) emitió un comunicado para dar a conocer el cierre de la terminal de Tasqueña del Tren Ligero. Esto como parte de una intervención con miras al Mundial 2026 y aumentar la capacidad de viaje de este servicio de transporte.

A través de un comunicado, detallaron que las principales obras están dirigidas para aumentar el tamaño de la termina, así como la instalación de un juego de cambio de vía. Según el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, estas obras en el Tren Ligero representarán una inversión de 200 millones de pesos.
Dentro de las acciones a realizar en la terminal se encuentran: construcción de una plataforma de entrada y salida de los trenes, adecuación de la infraestructura electromecánica de vía y catenaria, así como la rehabilitación de los accesos peatonales y del CETRAM.
Es por ello que la terminal de Tasqueña del Tren Ligero, así como otras estaciones no podrán ofrecer servicio. Es por ello que aquí te contamos cuando iniciarán las obras para que no te agarren desprevenido.
¿Cuánto tiempo estará cerrada la terminal Tasqueña del Tren Ligero?
De acuerdo con la información, el cierre del tramo que va de la terminal de Tasqueña a la estación Nezahualpilli iniciará el próximo 28 de julio. Se estima que las obras de intervención y de la instalación de un juego de cambio de vía concluya el próximo 31 de agosto.
Después de esta primera fase de intervención, el 1 de septiembre se cerrará únicamente la terminal de Tasqueña. Esto con el objetivo de seguir con los trabajos de ampliación de la estación.
Respecto a esta segunda obra, autoridades no detallaron alguna posible fecha para la conclusión de las obras. Para no afectar a la población, en la primera fase de la obra, unidades de la Red de Transporte de Pasajeros (RTP) brindarán servicio de apoyo.

Por último, para la segunda fase en la terminal de Tasqueña, el abordamiento de pasajeros en el Tren Ligero iniciará en la estación "Las Torres" hasta "Xochimilco".
